Baby Blue is a Norwegian Lifeboat that got converted into a Houseboat. She used to sail the seven seas on a ship from Valleta on an island called Malta from Italy. There is only one of her kind. She sleeps in the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve on the Mtamvuna river bordering the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal.
About Us
Main Cabin (Bedroom)
She offers a King Size bed in the bow with a down duvet and extra blanket for comfort, including a Bamboo High Density foam mattress to ensure extra comfort during your stay.
The Galley (Kitchenette)
Fully equipped with a two plate gas stove and basin with fresh drinking water. All the cooking utensils that you need are onboard so no need to stress when you need to whip up a quick meal.
Toilet and Shower
She has fully functional toilet onboard as well as a 12v Geyser to ensure a warm shower during your stay.
Rates
Baby Blue is available on airbnb as well as booking.com for you to conveniently look at dates and pricing for bookings. Our rates start from R1500 p/night for the boat. Enjoy a welcome Cocktail on arrival, a scenic 20min cruise up river to you destination where the skipper will leave you with a tandem kayak as well. We also offer one complimentary boat pick-up and drop-off per day during day time hours from The Riverside Aqua Sports and Cocktail Bar.
